Tayi began her career as a multi-disciplinary creative after graduating from NYU Tisch with a BFA in 2015. Shortly after completing her undergraduate studies, she relocated to Berlin, Germany, where she worked as a freelance reporter and culinary video producer. In 2019, she returned stateside and became the in-house art director for Santa Monica–based production house 37 Laines, where she honed her skills guiding commercial projects at the intersection of food and media. From late 2017 to early 2021, Tayi also served as a member of the creative team for Food Network Chef Carla Hall.

As a food and prop stylist, she has worked with brands including Häagen-Dazs, Del Monte, Studio Ramsay, Beyond Meat, Don Francisco's Coffee, Louis Kemp, Anova Culinary, BEAMS, Tastemade, Berkley Fishing, Takara, Dynasty, Lee Kum Kee, and more. In her free time, you can find Tayi communing with nature, eating everything, and making art things. She lives in Los Angeles with her Persian (cat) prince, Quincy.
